| A Special Gift is a volume designed for four year old
children. This volume is colorfully illustrated with themes of how
important all aspects of life are.
The book discusses several circles of a child's life. For instance A Special Gift deals with how family is a "Special Gift" to us all, then how "friends" are special to us. This is carried out to the notion that the community as a whole is very special to everyone. We deal with ideas that every child needs, like saying thank you, going to the doctor, being with family, and becoming a friend. |
The accompanying coloring book is designed for three year
old children. Using many of the same stories and from A Special Gift
the coloring book allows other children in a day care setting to have
something of their own. While at the same time conveying some of the same
messages.
The coloring book also gives three old children a chance to express their creativity. |
